Protecting Your BC Opulent Outerwear
In our research, crochet items (including knitted heirlooms, quilts, etcetera) should be preserved and protected with acid-free paper. These items will yellow if it comes in direct contact with cedar when exposed for long periods of time. Avoid use of plastic wraps, bags, and dry clean protectors. Plastic tends to release certain gases that can damage crochet items if stored for long duration.
- Store in a clean cotton pillow.
- We protect our products in Unbuffered Acid-Free Paper when storing inventory of finished products. Your order will be wrapped in two layers of acid-free paper prior to handling for shipment.
We suggest that you save the acid-free paper to prevent damage. Take care with sharp objects when you protect your valuable BC products.
